Our youngest students have been hard at work tending to our school garden, preparing it with care and intention in honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day last week. Through hands-on learning, they’ve been digging, planting, and discovering what it means to nurture the earth and take responsibility for the world around them. On Friday, we gathered as a community for a beautiful Kabbalat Shabbat in recognition of Arbor Day, grounding our celebration in gratitude, growth, and connection to nature. We’re also looking forward to planting an orange tree in our garden soon—a lasting symbol of renewal and the roots we continue to grow together. From planting to prayer, our students are bringing our values to life in meaningful and tangible ways.
