In their unit on the human body, 7th graders dove deep into learning about the digestive system!

To gain hands-on experience, the class dissected a silver carp, an invasive species in America. Students closely inspected its internal anatomy, observing its swim bladder, intestines, egg sac, liver, heart, and even the lens of its eye.
