Applying to Yavneh
We are now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year.
Limited Space Remains Available for the 2025-2026 school year.
The first round of new student applications are due on January 29, 2026, with decisions shared on March 19th, 2026
If you apply after January 29th, your child’s application will be processed as soon as possible with decisions going out in late March or as soon as possible thereafter.
Applicants to Kindergarten must turn five years old by September 1st of the entering school year and be developmentally ready for a Kindergarten placement.
In evaluating children for admission to any grade, Yavneh considers the child’s strengths, needs, personality, and learning style in relation to the needs and functioning of the class and school as a whole.
The Application Process
Kindergarten Applicants:
- Student photograph
- Copy of birth certificate
- Parent/Guardian Questionnaire
- Student Evaluation Form (to be completed by your child’s current teacher)
1st – 8th Grade Applicants:
- Student photograph
- Copy of birth certificate
- Parent/Guardian Questionnaire
- Student Evaluation Form (to be completed by your child’s current teacher)
- Release of School Records (including most recent school transcript)
Kindergarten Applicants:
Our kindergarten (observation) assessment is an engaging way for us to get to know your child while assessing for kindergarten readiness for Yavneh. The assessment is around 1 hour.
1st – 8th Grade Applicants:
Applying transfer students will meet 1-on-1 with a school administrator, visit Yavneh in a peer group classroom, and have the opportunity to interact with students at Yavneh for a partial or full day.
