Margaux MillmanMusic Teacher (K-2)

Margaux Millman is a music educator, conductor, and vocal coach born and raised outside Washington, D.C. She has now lived in the bay area for 10 years.

She holds a master’s degree in music education and piano performance from Northwestern University and Bachelors and Doctorate in music education from the University of Illinois. Her teaching and research focus is on diversity and inclusion in the music classroom and developing a comprehensive music curriculum for K-12 students.

Margaux taught middle and high school choir for 7 years in Fairfax County, Virginia, and has been on the faculty of San Jose State and The People’s Music School in Chicago. She is passionate about group singing and developing a culture of musical joy and active leadership in young students. She is beginning her 2nd year at Yavneh as the K-2 music teacher.

Margaux enjoys musical theater, cooking and baking, running, sewing, DIY home projects, and having dance parties with her husband and three kids.
