In Yavneh News

Hi everyone,

I am Vanina Sandel, the K-8th Grade STEAM Director at Yavneh Day School. I am excited to welcome you to our Yavneh Day School to enjoy the Family Day of Code, Tinkering, and Play 10.0. It’s our 10th anniversary!

At the event, we will host three stations: a coding station, a tinkering station, and a family challenge. Each station’s activities will range in accessibility based on age from preK-8th Grade. The family challenge options vary from a Rube Goldberg design and build to physics-inspired challenges. The coding stations range from learning scratch junior to artificial intelligence. The tinkering station is for all ages and includes building and launching spaceships, creating in the maker space, and making a working flashlight out of popsicle sticks!

I cannot wait to see you. And I hope you join us on Sunday, November 12th here at  Yavneh Day School.

We hope you’re able to join us!
