Yavneh Family Day of Code, Tinkering, and Play 10.0

A Decade of Inspiring Future Innovators
Los Gatos, CA, September 20, 2023 — Calling all STEAM students and families, the annual Yavneh Family Day of Code, Tinkering, and Play is back for its 10th year – a monumental milestone! Yavneh’s Day of Code is a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM)-powered event for families with children ages preK – 8th grade that has been inspiring future innovators for the past decade. Join in on the STEAM fun on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 11:30 am – 3:00 pm at Yavneh Day School in Los Gatos for a great day of creativity and learning for the whole family. During the event, families will have the opportunity to put their ingenuity to the test, taking on STEAM challenges, including building and launching spaceships, creating in the magical tinkering station, solving coding and robotics puzzles, exploring electricity and magnetism, completing a Rube Goldberg Institute Family Challenge, coding with AI for our 5th grade and middle school attendees, and building a real working flashlight out of popsicle sticks. Also, hear from Day of Code alumni – 10 years later!

All sessions will be divided by age. Vegetarian lunch and snacks are included. This event is FREE and open to the public.
