Your sneak peek into Gan learning…

Our kindergarten students continue to practice number bonds, where students learn that smaller numbers are part of a whole number.

Understanding and learning the concept of number bonds have the following benefits:

🌟 Makes it easier to use inverse operations

🌟 Assists with basic mental arithmetic

🌟 Simple to remember and highly effective

🌟 Boost creativity and problem-solving skills

Gan students also continue to master CVC words. A CVC word is an essential tool when learning to read! They are words made up of a consonant, vowel, and consonant sounds. Ex: Cat, hot, tip, man, and hut are all CVC words.

The goal is for students to use their knowledge of individual letter sounds to blend those sounds and create a whole word, not just three individual sounds.

Way to go Gan students, kol hakavod! #BrightFuturesStartHere
