Kitah Hay – 5th graders recently spent time with children at CHoNC Pediatric hospital, learning about caring for young patients, reading books, and helping medical staff.

From Kitah Hay, “The Hebrew term for visiting the sick is bikur cholim. Visiting the sick is a mitzvah – a good deed. If you visit one kid and you just smile, you will make that kid’s day.”

CHoNC Pediatric Hospital is a general acute care hospital that provides acute care services for catastrophically injured and severely disabled children. Located in Campbell (south San Jose area), CHoNC provides a wide range of acute care for machine-dependent children aged 0-21 years in the heart of Silicon Valley.
