In Yavneh News

STEAM integrated into the 4th Grade Gold Rush curriculum? Maybe not something you hear every day but something very normal here at Yavneh. But how?

Students chose between different scenes from the Gold Rush. Either; Sutter’s mill, a miner’s camp, a saloon, and a port with shops.

In small groups, they work together to draw a blueprint.

Next, they decide on supplies and build a model of the selected scene.

Finally, each group writes a description of what they built.

The products every year, especially this year, are amazing. So amazing, that we decided next year they need to be ready in time for the ArtWalk.
