This is “Y” Moments of the Week

This year, the STEAM initiative was expanded by creating a class called Beyond STEAM for Middle School students. During Beyond STEAM, Middle School students take the knowledge, skills, and tools that they have acquired during their STEAM years at Yavneh to the next level.

Recently, the 8th graders have been working on creating Rube Goldberg machines. These machines will be put to the test at the Rube Goldberg Machines Competition that will be hosted by our school later on in February. Each machine’s goal is to create different steps that transfer different types of energy to eventually at the end open a book.

Kol Ha’Kavod to Yavneh’s Middle School for volunteering to put together Shalom Baby Bags for the community.

Kindergarten is continuing to construct their Color Monster Books in Art Class.

5th Grade took part in an outdoor introspective activity for Torah Service this AM.
