It is with great gratitude for her service that I share with you that Daniela Silverstein let us know that she will be ending her tenure at Yavneh at the end of the month. Daniela joined the Yavneh community almost 10 years ago when her oldest son Max entered Kindergarten. After spending a year as a board member, she happily served as YPA president. Daniela seamlessly made the transition from amazing volunteer to dedicated staff member and became our Director of Development. Under her leadership, the Chai Challenge was created six years ago, which resulted in increasing the percentage of giving to 100% family participation. Daniela’s commitment to our mission and community have made a huge contribution to our journey as a school. We have begun the search for hiring for the position and hope to announce that hire in the near future.

We hope that Daniela enjoys the next chapter in her professional life, and are thankful that she’ll continue to be part of our Yavneh community.
