Aviva GreenbergPrincipal

Born in Ohio, Aviva grew up in Yokneam, Israel. She holds an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (ToEFL) and a BA in English and Theater from Haifa University. Aviva dedicated eight years to teaching English at the Reali Hebrew School in Haifa, where she also founded and directed the school choir and taught in the Military Boarding School and at the Technion.

Upon moving to the Bay Area with her family twelve years ago, Aviva immediately joined Yavneh, where she has taught Hebrew, Jewish Studies, Music, and most recently, she has been serving as the Hebrew Director. She brings a wealth of energy, experience, and enthusiasm to her new role as school principal, eager to guide students toward academic excellence and foster a thriving community.

Aviva and her husband Uri have four children and a golden retriever. In her leisure time, Aviva enjoys singing, baking, and exploring new destinations with her family.
