How many students are at Yavneh?

Yavneh has been steadily growing and is now at approximately 200 students.

What types of standardized testing does Yavneh give?

For standardized assessments, 3rd through 8th grade students are assessed annually using the Northwest  Evaluation Association’s (NWEA) Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) in mathematics, reading and language arts.

While we use multiple methods to measure students’ progress over time, the MAP assessments allow us to formally measure individual growth across time using a scale score. We use data from all assessments to evaluate both students progress and effectiveness of our curriculum.

For K-2nd grade, teachers utilize Children’s Progress Academic Assessment (CPAA) each trimester to help guide instruction and inform learning.

We ask all parents to volunteer in a way that will be meaningful to both you and to the school. We do not track the quantity of hours spent.
