We are so proud of the Yavneh Day School Graduates of 2024. We know you will do great in High School and beyond.

The 2024 Graduates had a 100% acceptance rate to their top private/independent High Schools and will be attending the following:

ArchBishop Mitty High School, Bellermine College Preparatory, Branham High School, Leigh High School, Notre Dame High School, Santa Clara High School, Sequoia High School, Tichon Chadash, Tel Aviv, and Willow Glen High School

Here are a few remarks from Kitah Chet’s 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony:

“This school has taught us that who you are is important. We, as a class, all care about different subjects. We all have different skills, and we all make our things count in our own ways. As a class we celebrate these differences and bring them together through our shared culture, religion, enthusiasm, and love for our school.

Our personal legacies are the messages and meaning we put out into the world. Yavneh has given us the tools to do so, and the place and space in which to practice them.

It’s time for us to go out and share those gifts with the world.” – Ethan M.

“As our time here comes to a close and we head into the unknown, I’m grateful Yavneh has taught us the importance of togetherness and connection.” – Delilah

“I learned, with the help and guidance of my teachers, to persevere through my challenges with a smile and belief in my ability to achieve. My teachers and my classmates at Yavneh have taught me to push myself out of my comfort zone, to maintain a positive mindset, and to believe in myself.” – Sofia

“Our journeys are something that I will always cherish, as they have brought me so much closer to my friends and classmates; and especially the teachers.

Overall, Yavneh has been one of the best things that has happened to me: the close relationships that we get to have with our teachers and with each other is truly special and something you don’t see every day. Whether it be Morah Danielle challenging me in math, or Ms. Yourman being my cheerleader to help me complete my homework… the amount of support and uplifting energy I have received at Yavneh is unmatched. I will miss every second that I have spent here: sleepily singing at Tefillah on Monday mornings, playing bass in front of the school community, and always feeling like I can be my true and authentic self.” – Lena

“At Yavneh, we’ve learned to fully accept one another. We’ve discovered, with the help of our classmates, that we should never hide who we are, even in a place where we think it might not be appreciated. And when we do finally go out into the “real world” and attend bigger schools where not everyone knows our true selves, we can draw from our time at Yavneh to remind us that we are in fact wanted and loved for who we are.” – Cooper

“As we move on from Yavneh, we will continue to grow and to evolve; and yet, we will maintain the core identities we have formed throughout our years together.” – Dan

“Looking ahead, we can be confident that we are equipped with the skills and mindset needed to tackle whatever comes our way. Even though most of us are going on different paths, we’re all going to carry with us the foundation we built here. Let’s embrace the future with the same enthusiasm and determination that has brought us to this point. The world is waiting for us, and we are on our way.” – Amitai
