Kol HaKavod to the 4th-grade class for leading the Shacharit (morning) service at their milestone event. Yavneh’s Milestone program is designed to develop students’ public speaking and leadership skills and enable them to be confident and competent Jewish communal leaders. This is accomplished through the annual mastery of a set of new skills centered around a service or ritual. Mastery of this set of skills is celebrated at a ceremony. The ceremony provides an opportunity to demonstrate and share these new skills with family and the Yavneh community.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible. We want to send a special thank you to Rabbi Josh Berkenwald of Congregation Sinai for working with our students and guiding them through the Shacharit learning journey.
