Our kindergarten students were so inspired by their field trip at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center that they decided to turn their classroom into an aquarium experience for the whole community to enjoy! They set up displays, a touch tank, books, a kelp forest with otters, and hands-on learning experiences for everyone to enjoy!

All the learning our Gan students have been doing for the last few months has revolved around the kelp forest. Every subject: reading, writing, math, art, social studies, Hebrew, Jewish Studies, and even STEAM have integrated into ocean studies, making the learning diverse and subject matter relevant to each student, no matter what kind of learner they are.

Thank you, Gan team, for creating a wonderful environment for our students to thrive. Thank you to all of the aquarium visitors who joined us today. We can’t wait to see what’s next from these little explorers!

Check out all the fun they had below!
