A highlight of the Yavneh learning experience is in Kitah Bet – 2nd grade when students study insect life cycles. This year, they are investigating mealworms together. As their mealworms grow and change into Darkling Beetles, students record their observations in their personal Mealworm Journals.

In addition to their classroom learning, Yavneh 2nd graders visited the California Academy of Sciences “Bugs” exhibit! It was a very exciting day filled with lots of learning and fun.

Thank you to all parents who chaperoned and accompanied our little bug explorers on their journey!
