For the first time ever, our 6th and 7th grade students are competing in The Tech Challenge presented by Amazon at the San Jose Tech Museum!
“Even though we never competed as a school, I have been following this challenge for years now, and I can say for sure that this year’s challenge is quite THE CHALLENGE!” says Morah Vanina, Yavneh K-8 STEAM Program Director

The Tech Challenge is a signature program of The Tech that invites teams of students in Grades 4-12 to use the engineering design process to solve a real-world problem. Participants spend months collaborating and becoming deeply engaged in the challenge while documenting their progress and designs. The program culminates in an inspiring showcase where teams put their solutions to the test in front of judges.

This year’s challenge: create a device that transfers stored energy to make sound!

The groups are evaluated in three categories: live interview, the operation of the device, and the technical journal.
Kol HaKavod and good luck to the 6th & 7th-grade students!
