Kol HaKavod to Levi (7th grade) and Noa (8th grade) for being winners of the Israeli National Writing Contest, a contest open to middle and high school students from throughout the State of Israel. Levi’s short story and Noa’s poem were among the 70 winning pieces of writing, all of which will be published in a book entitled “Olam Mishelahem” (A World of Their Own). Of the 70, Levi and Noa were the only winners who do not attend school in Israel (nor are they native Hebrew speakers).
