Stephanie joins Yavneh Day School with nearly twenty years of experience in admissions, educational leadership, and program management, and a career that has come full circle back to the Jewish day school community where it began.
She started her career at The Epstein School in Atlanta, and has since worked across the full arc of education, from preschool classrooms to Stanford University, with roles in Virginia, North Carolina, and California. Along the way, she has developed deep expertise in guiding families through the school search process and helping them discover where their child will truly thrive.
A graduate of Emory University, Stephanie grew up between Florida and the Middle East, an upbringing that gave her a global perspective and a deep appreciation for the role strong communities play in helping children and families flourish. Returning to Jewish education feels, in her words, like coming home.
At Yavneh, Stephanie is committed to making every family’s first impression of the school warm and personal. She believes admissions is far more than a process, it is the beginning of a relationship, and her goal is for every prospective family to feel known, supported, and genuinely welcomed from their very first conversation.
Stephanie and her husband share a blended family of five children, ages 16 to 23, which means she knows firsthand the joys and decisions that come with raising children through every stage of school. At home, the true ruler of the household is Scout, their much-loved border collie mix. In their free time, the family loves to travel and seek out adventures off the beaten path.
