During this year’s 8 day Chai Challenge,
we celebrated all the ways “Y” your support brings light to Yavneh.

This year, we celebrated together throughout the week,
with the goal of all families making a meaningful donation to the Annual Campaign.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, Faculty and Administration, we would like to thank our incredible Yavneh community for helping us reach 99% parent participation and 100% board participation in the Chai Challenge. The Wolff family was moved by how our families embraced the challenge and came together, with almost all donating to this year’s Annual Campaign. Because of your support, Yavneh will still receive the additional $200,000 gift!

Thank you to all of our families and to the Wolff Family for making this year’s Chai Challenge a success and to ensure another 40+ years of Yavneh!

Please visit our 2021-2022 Gratitude page as we thank this year’s supporters.

Day 1 • Sunday, 11/28

Match to Your Flame

Your support helps get us closer to 100% family participation, unlocking our generous $200,000 match from the Wolff family!

Day 2 • Monday, 11/29

Brighten the Light

Your support enables Yavneh to attract and retain exceptional educators who inspire and guide our students each day.

Day 3 • Tuesday, 11/30

Glowing Together

Your support helps bolster our thriving community. Attend an all-school Kabbalat Shabbat on a Friday afternoon to feel the special warmth of our Yavneh community, as students come together in song with parents and teachers. In an area where many live far from extended family members, the Yavneh community serves as a home away from home.

Day 4 • Wednesday, 12/1

Ignite From Within

Your support enables our enrichment programs: PE, Art, STEAM, and Music. Taught in tandem with the classroom curriculum, our unique approach to specialist classes is designed to ignite the heart and inspire the mind through relevant and meaningful learning experiences.

Day 5 • Thursday, 12/2

Fueling the Blaze

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Yavneh! Your support is needed now more than ever to help ensure ANOTHER 40 years of academic excellence rooted in Jewish tradition, where each child is celebrated and challenged.

Day 6 • Friday, 12/3

Lights Burning Bright

Your support gives our students the unique, dual-language Hebrew immersion curriculum for which Yavneh is known. Students develop their cognitive skills, boost their communication skills, and become more culturally aware, while strengthening their self-perception, and embracing their identity in relevant, purposeful, and real-world ways. They become more invested and motivated to achieve academically while learning a new language at the same time.

Day 7 • Sunday, 12/5

Each Candle Shines

Your support provides students with rich experiential learning experiences, such as field trips, journeys, and interest-based projects. Integrating different approaches and teaching modalities ensures that every child succeeds across the spectrum of subjects.

Day 8 • Monday, 12/6

Sharing the Warmth

Yavneh is committed to providing critical financial aid for those families who otherwise would not be able to benefit from a Yavneh education. This year, we have given more than $1.1 million in tuition assistance to ensure that a Yavneh education is available to all families. We rely on the support of our community to continue providing these scholarships.
