Sharon EliaMiddle School Science and Math Teacher

Sharon Elia was born and raised in Israel. Combining her love of physics, medicine, and working with people, Sharon began her professional career as an Optometrist. She found that the part of her job that she enjoyed the most was working with children in visual therapy. Sharon decided to focus on her passion for education and earned a teaching certificate from David Yellin College of Education in science education. After teaching science and math for five years in Israel, Sharon moved to Silicon Valley and taught Hebrew at Beget Kefet and South Peninsula Hebrew Day School. Sharon is thrilled to return to her passion for science and math education.

In her spare time, Sharon can be found biking with her husband and cooking for family and friends.
