In Yavneh News

In the past few weeks, Yavneh students in grades K-3 have significantly advanced their literacy skills using our new structured literacy program, FUNdations. Teachers introduced the first models in FUNdations and classrooms have been responding, especially to their new friend and teaching assistant, Echo the Owl! (see photos below) This well-established literacy program is firmly rooted in the science of reading. Fundations not only makes word analysis an enjoyable experience but also establishes the essential foundations for a lifetime of literacy.

To learn more about the multisensory techniques used by the teachers, feel free to ask the teacher or read more at the Wilson website.
