During the last few weeks at Gan we focused on Wildlife vr. Domestic Animals. We explored this topic with literature, reading, writing, math and even jewish studies. Animals were all around us!
The highlight was on Thursday when we went to the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo and we actually learned about the animals through exploration.
The children were excited and enthusiastic to walk around the zoo area and see their experience come to life – feeding the Flamingos was the highlight of the day!
“Feeding the flamingos was the best! – I never fed a Flamingo” – Jonah
“I saw flamingo standing on one leg and their bones helped him to do that” – Lucy
“I liked to watch the fishes through the special cave” – Liam
“The bunny was so cute!” – Maya and Emmy
