Spirit Week – Monday, May 16th-Friday, May 20th

Let’s show our ruach during the week of Lag B’Omer. Thanks to the Yavneh Student Council for coordinating!

Monday, 5/16: Disney Day!
Dress as a character from the Disney multi-verse or rock your Disney swag.

Tuesday, 5/17: Switcheroo Day!
Students dress like a teacher; teachers dress like a student.

Wednesday, 5/18: Bygone Era Day!
Dust off your hair crimper, shoulder pads, tie-dye, or flapper dress–choose your favorite decade and deck yourself out.

Thursday, 5/19: Lag B’Omer!
Come dressed in your team’s color

Friday, 5/20: Class Theme Day!
Each class will choose a theme and show their grade-level spirit.

 

Field Day Festivities

On Thursday, May 19, we will celebrate the 33rd day of the Omer with traditional Field Day activities. We’ll have ten teams, corresponding with the ten divine attributes. Each team will have an 8th-grade captain and 7th graders will be assistant captains! Teams will compete for spirit points through cheers, songs, and various fun activities.

Closing Ceremonies – 2:30 PM – All Are Invited

Prefer to cheer from the sidelines? That’s fine too! Everyone is also welcome to attend our Closing Ceremony, scheduled for 2:30-2:50 pm.
