Zivit ReiterDirector of Student and Teacher Development

Zivit is an educational therapist, a learning specialist, and an educational diagnostician. She has over 30 years of experience teaching, diagnosing, advising, and planning education programs for students with special needs and for gifted children. Before joining Yavneh, Zivit spent six years as the learning specialist and the director of student services at the South Peninsula Hebrew Day school in Sunnyvale and was the Assistant Director and the Inclusion Specialist at the Witzman Family Jewish School in Dallas, TX.

Zivit earned an Education Specialist Instruction Credential Certificate from the CTC, a Cognitive Skills therapists certificate from the International Renewal Institute in Illinois, and a Dynamic Assessment certificate from the Feuerstein Institute in Texas. Additionally, she has a BA degree in Special Education, a master’s degree in Public Policy and Public Administration from Tel-Aviv University, and an Educational Diagnostician Certificate from Beit-Berl College in Israel.

Zivit is committed to helping students learn at their highest potential. Her unique approach of holistic assessment determines the individual needs of every child, supports her students in developing a growth mindset, and uncovers students’ full potential.

Zivit likes reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two boys in her free time.
