Everyone Benefits from a Diverse Learning Environment

No two people are alike. No two people learn alike.

It is our belief that such diversity in a learning environment benefits our students’ abilities to appreciate multiple cognitive styles and perspectives and learn more about themselves as learners.

As an inclusive school of various types of learners, we differentiate instruction to attempt to meet the needs of a variety of student learning styles. Guided by principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), an educational framework based on research in the learning sciences, we focus on developing flexible learning environments and instructional approaches that can accommodate the individuality of a variety of learning profiles.

Creating Deep & Meaningful Experiences

Using this approach, our faculty are able to create deep and meaningful learning experiences for our students. In some cases, students may be referred to outside resources for additional support. We also recognize that there are some cases in which the optimal conditions for student success may be in an alternate educational framework outside of the Yavneh community.
